JULY Car Boot Sale Stafford Common Stone Road We will meet at the front gate on Sunday 25th July at 10am. We know it’s a bit early for a Sunday morning but we want to catch the bargains! Picnic Victoria Park We will meet at the bird avery at 12pm on Saturday 31st July. Bring a bit of money if you fancy a cuppa or an ice cream at the kiosk. Monthly Meet Up Soup Kitchen 3-4pm. We don't want all our activities to revolve around the pub so this time we are meeting in a local cafe on Saturday 7th August. This meeting is for people to meet up and chat but also to make suggestions on future activities, especially for the weeks ahead. So if you have an idea we would love to hear it! We will wait outside the entrance at 3pm but if you're late then just peep inside to see where we are, alternatively text or ring us. Outings You’ve Missed!!! |

June England v USA in The Bird We met to celebrate the start of the World Cup and to see England play their first game. We met in The Bird and Hand in Stafford at 6pm on Saturday 12th June. |
Coffee Mornings Fridays 10.15am at The Balcony Bar Cafe, The Shire Hall Gallery. Here we met up to chat and organise some fun activities for the near future. Due to unforeseen circumstances we were forced to change venue. Now we tend to meet in evenings and at weekends. |
Noisefloor 2010 Electronic Music Festival, Staffordshire University Saturday 16th January. 9pm Live Electronic - £3 (£1 for students) This was a great first outing. Abstract narratives being projected onto a large screen accompanied by Electronica music showcased by international experts. It was definitely different and eye opening, and turned out to be just what Stafford Social Hub was looking for. |
“Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll” A film on the life of the famous singer, Ian Dury. We caught a train to The Lighthouse in Wolverhampton to see this film on Saturday 13th February. It was a wicked film and a wicked venue. Would definitely pay a visit again. |
The Comic Sean Hughes at The Gatehouse Theatre This was a thoroughly enjoyable night for all. Sunday 14th March 8pm £15 per ticket. |
